The Grant team recently returned from the ISH exhibition in Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s leading exhibitions that provides a focus on responsible water and energy management.
During this five-day internationally recognised event, a real emphasis was placed on how we – individually and collectively as a society – can improve our efficient energy usage and provided the opportunity for companies to showcase their latest technologies and solutions to visitors of the exhibition.
The ISH exhibition provided a great platform for our team to demonstrate our continued commitment to providing the heating and manufacturing industries with some of the highest-quality innovations available. This is the second time we have attended the event and this year we returned with a larger stand which incorporated our range of products from the latest modulating oil technology and biomass boilers, right through to our highly-efficient Aerona3 air source heat pump range, VortexAir Hybrid models and latest range of heat emitters.
Also on display during the exhibition was our new 13kW R32 air source heat pump model which incorporates the more environmentally-friendly R32 refrigerant gas. The R32 refrigerant has a considerably lower global warming potential (GWP) than other typical heat pump refrigerants and complies with upcoming legislative targets outlined in the 2014 EU Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas Regulations.
Speaking about the event Barry Gorman, Grant Technical Team, said, “ISH is an excellent exhibition that provides us with the opportunity to showcase the very best of our products to key representatives within the industry and on this occasion, our brand-new prototype. This latest product offering represents an exciting development for Grant and demonstrates the steps we continuously make to ensure we are bringing a forward-thinking approach to the renewable heating sector.
“This biennial event presents a hub of energy-conscious integrated solutions and brings together some of the industry’s most exciting innovations and concepts, all of which will shape the future of the heating industry, and we are very pleased to have been part of it.”
This year the ISH exhibition saw great attendance with over 2,500 companies from 57 different countries exhibiting and nearly 50% of the 190,000 visitors present flying to Germany to attend. Our team, alongside others within the industry are already looking ahead to the ISH 2021 exhibition which has already been confirmed to return to Frankfurt from 22nd-26th March 2021.
