Grant Vortex Air and Aerona3 generate great interest at the Architecture & Building Expo

Team Grant recently attended the Architecture and Building Expo 2017 – a great event which brings together leading architects, architectural technologists and specifiers from across Ireland.

This year, our Grant VortexAir Hybrid and Aerona3 air source heat pump were firm favourites with visitors at the two-day event. The innovative VortexAir range combined with the Aerona3 heat pump are specifically designed for new builds and retrofit installations, helping those building a new home meet the Part L obligations as outlined in building regulations.

The VortexAir Hybrid combines the reliable features of the Grant Vortex condensing oil-fired boiler with the eco-friendly advantages of the Aerona3 inverter driven air source heat pump (ASHP), offering an advanced, reliable and convenient home heating solution. Renowned for delivering some of the highest efficiency ratings on the market today, the model can also help safeguard against unknown future home heating costs.

To further assist visitors at the Expo, team Grant distributed complimentary storage memory sticks with important information including details about Part L compliance for new build properties and examples of how trusted Grant products can help meet these obligations. Examples of the required Heat Pump Tool and product fiches (energy labels) were also included.

Visitors were also reminded about the FREE of charge heat loss calculations which Grant offer to professionals who send us through their building plans and xml files to heatpump@grantengineering.ie. We can then size the home for the correct model and ensure Part L compliance.

Innovative Product of the Year Award

We received a double boost by winning the Innovative Product of the Year title alongside the Best Marketing Campaign at the recent Pluming and Heating Awards 2016.

The VortexAir boiler, which is one of the most energy-efficient boilers on the market, was named the Innovative Product of the Year in a highly competitive category, while the campaign ‘Think Boilers, Think Grant’ was named as the Best Manufacturing campaign.

Judges comments… ” The judges acknowledge GRANT’s innovation in being the first manufacturer to come to market with this product.”

The Grant VortexAir is a revolutionary new product from our in-house design team, and is a combination of the award-winning Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler with its latest in ‘blue flame’ technology, and the A++ Aerona inverter driven heat pump. This hybrid product allows the householder to benefit from the two most cost-effective forms of fuel – oil and heat pump – to ensure that they will never be without heat. The innovative design also offers the householder the best of renewable heating technology on one side and the Grant Vortex Blue Flame boiler on the other.

We developed the product after recognising that there was a gap in the market for a renewable energy heating system with the trusted attributes of the Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler to meet the growing demand from off-gas customers, and the industry call for cleaner heating solutions. Customers can purchase the new VortexAir from this summer, through all key plumbing and heating merchants.

The effective ‘Think Boilers, Think Grant’ campaign incorporated a fully integrated advertising campaign covering print, radio, television and online adverts alongside Grant’s first ever TV advert. This has all helped to further cement Grant’s place as a market leader with home-owners.
