A+++ Aerona3 R32 air source heat pump range now available

Representing our dedication to providing the industry with both innovative and efficient high-quality heating solutions that provide end users with unrivalled benefits we have launched our full range of A+++ Aerona3 R32 inverter driven air source heat pumps.

Available in outputs of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW, the range provides both heat and hot water to a property and builds on the popularity of our previous air source heat pump offering which is highly favoured by those within the trade completing new build projects and can help to meet Part L compliance as required under building regulations. In addition to the environmental benefits associated with the air source heat pumps, the Grant Aerona3 range is exceptionally efficient, achieving an impressive A+++ energy rating at low temperatures.

Commenting on the new Aerona3 R32 range Barry Gorman from the Grant technical team said, “When designing and manufacturing our heating products, priority is given to providing end users with the highest quality and best performance. We also take industry requirements into consideration as there has been a real shift in recent years, with a stronger focus now on integrating products with a lower environmental impact into all aspects of our lives, including home heating.”

The R32 air source heat pumps incorporate several clever features including weather compensation controls and a base tray heating element to stop ice formation in cold weather conditions. With a sleek and compact design, models within the range are also designed to have minimal impact on their surroundings. The 13kW and 17kW models recently received recognition from Quiet Mark, an international award programme which validates and awards low-noise, high-performance technologies which help deliver solutions to overcome noise pollution throughout the world. This accolade is only awarded to products which meet the programme’s criteria, and which are identified as being amongst the quietest models within their given category.

The models within the Aerona3 R32 range champion a superior seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP), delivering more than four times the amount of heat energy for every 1kW of electricity used. Integrating clever technology, the heat pumps modulate up or down depending on prevailing climate conditions and demand on the heating system at the time, giving the end user total peace of mind that their heating system is being as efficient as possible all year round.

“The R32 air source heat pumps are a great renewable energy alternative as they can reduce a property’s overall carbon emissions and achieve Part L compliance without having to sacrifice on strong performance and efficiency outputs. The launch of this range is just one way in which we continue to drive innovation in the industry, and we look forward to expanding our product portfolio in the near future,” added Barry.

Grant enjoys another successful ISH exhibition

The Grant team recently returned from the ISH exhibition in Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s leading exhibitions that provides a focus on responsible water and energy management.

During this five-day internationally recognised event, a real emphasis was placed on how we – individually and collectively as a society – can improve our efficient energy usage and provided the opportunity for companies to showcase their latest technologies and solutions to visitors of the exhibition.

The ISH exhibition provided a great platform for our team to demonstrate our continued commitment to providing the heating and manufacturing industries with some of the highest-quality innovations available. This is the second time we have attended the event and this year we returned with a larger stand which incorporated our range of products from the latest modulating oil technology and biomass boilers, right through to our highly-efficient Aerona3 air source heat pump range, VortexAir Hybrid models and latest range of heat emitters.

Also on display during the exhibition was our new 13kW R32 air source heat pump model which incorporates the more environmentally-friendly R32 refrigerant gas. The R32 refrigerant has a considerably lower global warming potential (GWP) than other typical heat pump refrigerants and complies with upcoming legislative targets outlined in the 2014 EU Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas Regulations.

Speaking about the event Barry Gorman, Grant Technical Team, said, “ISH is an excellent exhibition that provides us with the opportunity to showcase the very best of our products to key representatives within the industry and on this occasion, our brand-new prototype. This latest product offering represents an exciting development for Grant and demonstrates the steps we continuously make to ensure we are bringing a forward-thinking approach to the renewable heating sector.

“This biennial event presents a hub of energy-conscious integrated solutions and brings together some of the industry’s most exciting innovations and concepts, all of which will shape the future of the heating industry, and we are very pleased to have been part of it.”

This year the ISH exhibition saw great attendance with over 2,500 companies from 57 different countries exhibiting and nearly 50% of the 190,000 visitors present flying to Germany to attend. Our team, alongside others within the industry are already looking ahead to the ISH 2021 exhibition which has already been confirmed to return to Frankfurt from 22nd-26th March 2021.

Grant launches new product lines

We have recently extended our portfolio of innovative, efficient and reliable heating solutions with the launch of two new radiator ranges – the Grant Solo fan convector radiators and Grant Afinia aluminium radiators.

Available in three models including the wall-mounted Solo Compact Solo CompactMAX and space saving plinth heater, the Solo Hideaway, the Grant Solo fan convector radiator range is ideally suited for those wishing to tackle areas in their home that can be harder to heat. Providing an extra boost, each model within the range can integrate seamlessly into an existing heating system, including highly efficient air source heat pumps such as the Grant Aerona3.

The Grant Solo fan convector radiators feature clever technology, in a compact and aesthetically pleasing design, that delivers faster rates of convection compared to conventional radiators. With the ability to regulate its own heat output, the Solo fan convector radiators deliver the precise amount of heat when and where required and consumes lower amounts of energy.

The Grant Afinia radiators are designed to work effectively with both low and high temperature systems, making them the perfect pairing for either our highly efficient Aerona3 air source heat pump or award-winning Vortex condensing oil boilers. Slim in profile, units within the Grant Afinia range feature curved surfaces, a white powder coated finish and are available from 6-20 panels as either standard or vertical radiators. Grant’s Technical Team also provides homeowners with specifications for underfloor heating products that can easily integrate with any new or existing heating system.
